Organic food question?

Ok…so this is kind of a dumb question but, Is organic better for you than normal food? What makes it better…
And what exactly is organic foods? I a m thinking of switching to an all organic diet because of what I am hearing about it…but I am not exactly sure if i should do that considering I know slim to nothing about organics.

Think of it like this, how far have we come since we stopped drinking wine from lead cups and arsenic in our wallpaper? A long way I’d say. Longer lifespans, higher IQ’s etc. Imagine the harm the pesticides, chemical fertilizers and things are doing to us, imagine how future generations will look back and wonder how far they could have come if not for that. We know NOW these things are dangerous to us, our ancestors didn’t.
